Twig Talk – June 2021

WHAT’S NEW

  • The merger between the Newfoundland & Labrador twig and the Nova Scotia twig is a fait accompli! We’re now the Atlantic twig or Editors Atlantic. Our new email address is atlantic@editors.ca. On Twitter we’re @EditorsAtlantic and you can find us on Facebook at Editors Atlantic. Your three co-chairs are Sandy Newton, Molly Rookwood, and Margo Grant.
  • We are now looking to hire a web designer to create a new web page that will incorporate the important info of both twigs and be our public face in the future. Meanwhile, the sites of both former twigs will remain in operation.
  • The Wolfville Editors’ Bunch met June 23 via Zoom, and will meet again on Wednesday, July 21, in person if weather permits or online if not.
  • We have no formal events planned for the summer months but will keep you updated on any informal twig socials.
  • The Editors Canada insurance task force is looking for a leader. The task force is researching insurance carriers to offer a life and health insurance package for members. Contact Patricia MacDonald if you’re interested in getting involved or would like more info.
