Write to the End

I began editing 18 years ago and continued throughout a 9-year high school English teaching career before focusing exclusively on my editing and writing business. I have particular experience in workplace mental health, large-scale projects, and poetry and fiction. Memberships include the Professional Writers’ Association of Canada and the Writers’ Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador. I’ve taken courses on stylistic, copy, and developmental editing, and plain language.

As well as editing, I’m pleased to offer several additional services:

  • Writing coach for individuals, businesses, and schools.
  • Ghost writing, interviewing, and transcription services.
  • Collaborations with businesses, organizations, and non-profits to create material.
  • Detailed manuscript evaluations and website reviews.
  • Book promotions and marketing, and making the most of your social media.
  • Guiding writers through the publishing process, both traditional and independent.
  • Writing retreats in Newfoundland featuring best selling Canadian authors.

Teaching at an international school gave me in-depth insight into various cultures and cultural sensitivities. I’m skilled at person-first language and helping clients who have English as a second language express themselves the way they deserve.

I’m currently polishing my own poetry collection, “Whispers from the Waves,” for publication, and researching in the Pyrenees mountains for my first novel.
