 I hold an editing certificate from Simon Fraser University. I have a strong background in research and the life sciences, scientific writing and editing (all levels), and am adept at translating complex content into audience-appropriate material. I also have editing leadership experience, working as an editor-in-chief for a non-profit for 4 years. In addition to the life sciences, I enjoy technical writing, plain language use, and am very interested in expanding my editing skills to other areas such as cookbooks, non-fiction, and fiction. Subjects include animals, health and medicine, and communications.
