I am happy performing tasks as focused as copy-editing and proofreading or as broad as serving as managing editor of a publication. I like work that is linked to the cultures and heritage of the region I chose as my home base, but I also have connections to the worlds of sailing and the sea, art, craft, and design, and travel. I particularly enjoy helping clients shape their content to best serve their vision, as well as suggesting ways to make the words and graphics/imagery of clients’ messages work together to greatest effect.

I've been providing editing and writing services to a broad range of clients in NL and beyond since the 1990s. Projects I've contributed to include museum exhibits, books, government reports, print promotions, advocacy materials, corporate communications, and web sites. My work was honoured with the Editors Canada’s Tom Fairley Award for Editorial Excellence (2012). Five additional books I've edited have won provincial or regional awards.
